Accreditation We are accredited at the highest level by the American Animal Hospital Association. Since 1933, AAHA has set the standards by which companion animal hospitals are judged. To be accredited, a hospital must meet specific standards in the following areas: Medical Records Examination Facilities Pharmacy Laboratory Diagnostic Imaging Anesthesiology Surgery Dentistry Nursing Care Housekeeping and Maintenance Continuing Education Emergency Services We received a four year accreditation at our last evaluation in March, 2001. We are also members of: American Veterinary Medical Association New York State Veterinary Medical Society Hudson Valley Veterinary Medical Society Greater Southern Dutchess Chamber of Commerce
